You can do this with whiskey, too, but it requires fewer tests..

Lol, sounds great!

Eleanor and I had no symptoms this summer, and the only weird taste thing I had was from taking the Paxlovid - tasted like I had quarters in my mouth for five days, it was so gross.

@ Stephen: Tried whiskey, didn't really take to it - though it was probably cheap crap like my first coffee attempts. My spirits drink of choice in my youth was vodka and then gin in college.

@ Sarah: Still haven't caught it (yet) probably because of lack of direct human contact. Who knew that being a social misfit would be such an advantage one day?

@CK Definitely depends on the brand. If I go cheap I mix it with diet Sprite (or, before kidney issues, diet Pepsi/diet Coke).

@Sarah It's very mild with some people, myself included! I had the sniffles for a couple of days and that was it. Of course, I was diagnosed with CKD right after that so it may have had under-the-radar damage....

We are vaccinated so no symptomsand that was wonderful. But also really difficult because Eleanor and her boundless energy could not be easily contained. Getting her to just rest at any point was tough.

Good advice. I will keep that in mind. Though, I don't drink alcohol. LOL
