What do you make of the twitter files? I'm not in the least surprised, personally. Google is also doing something bizaare on youtube -- videos with any profanity in the first fifteen seconds (including words their auto-caption PERCEIVES as profanity), or violence (including COMPUTER GAMES) are being demonetized. I'm not sure how destroying the incentive content creators have to create & post content there is going to help them, or what they're trying to achieve.
I haven't been keeping up to speed with all the Twitter nonsense but it seems like, as usual, a storm in a tea cup. Yet again it's misdirection and whataboutism....
YouTube is kinda weird and I know a lot of people (or at least a lot of loud people) are getting rather antsy about being demonetised for various reasons and calling 'foul'. But I'm not one of those who automatically thinks conspiracy or government meddling. Some of it is probably people making mistakes or poorly written/understood policies. Although I do watch the Tube a lot the politics and hand-ringing behind the scenes hasn't really caught my attention or focus too much.

Well, they have to fixate on *something*. It's not like they have policies and legislative proposals & such.........
Though, to be fair, I don't really want them legislating, since they're deeply stupid.
