I've died in my dreams LOTS of times... It's no biggie......

Death scenes are usually where my brain screams me awake. They're such a strange realm -- my brain often creates and re-uses "sets", composites of different places I know well.

My brain sometimes uses nightmares to wake me up because I need to pee. I'm sure that there's an easier way to do that sort of thing. But I guess it's the non-verbal 'lizard' brain that's doing the communications - so obviously no recognisable language is involved.

Dreams are funny things though. Interesting, funny (sometimes) and a possible insight into what your deeper brain is in need of.

My favourite 'death' was being machine-gunned (rather dramatically) after crashing a open truck through a roadblock. All VERY exciting...!!

I’ve died in my dreams before. Sometimes it’s terrifying, as in the one where I was on a plane that was high jacked and then we crashed. Other times it’s sad and feels like a waste of a life as when I was accidentally shot in an open air market in the Middle East when I was twenty-seven. Other times it’s peaceful and I just float into this unbelievably powerful energy of love. It’s weird the various ways my brain has dreamed up the dying experience.

That's interesting.. I don't think I've ever died in a dream...

Its amazing what the brain can do (and does) when its effectively 'off-line'. Sometimes fun, sometimes not. I still remember a dream I had just before waking up: I was floating in space, looking down at our Milky Way galaxy in the middle distance and I understood *EVERYTHING*. I spent the rest of the day high on the endorphin rush and walked around with a stupid smile on my face... [lol]

That sounds like a cool dream.
