Absolutely. No resting on one's laurels or whining in the ditch. Just keep moving, to quote Uncle Iroh.

Always depending on your own definition of 'success' or 'failure'..!

True...what success looks like for a lot of people is something I'd rather avoid! Especially big houses and 'important' stressful jobs.

I've never understood that kind of 'success' - which might explain a LOT. [lol]

I walked away from the stress and the money (attorney) and have never regretted it!

I was advised more than once that I would never 'get anywhere' with my 'attitude'. I couldn't help but wonder where I was supposed to be going and why was it so great. "Ambitious" people I knew certainly didn't seem to be enjoying their lives very much!

Absolutely true! There are too many demands all the time. The stress level was through the roof. I had no time to really unwind. I didn’t like what my life had become, so at the breaking point I had to re-evaluate what I was doing and why. I came to the realization that just because you’re capable of doing something, that doesn’t mean you should be.

Indeed. At some point you have to decide what exactly you're doing here - and who are you doing it for. Then you need to decide about the price being paid - there's *always* a price of some kind - and then decide if its worth it. I *think* they call it something like: 'Being an Adult' - whatever **that** means! [lol]

You certainly appear to have made the right decision!!

I agree! I’m much happier now.

In the final analysis that's *ALL* that counts! Good.
