Old technology can be pretty funny/strange - especially to 'modern' kids! Like phones you can't just pick up and walk away with...!! [lol] Or keyboards not actually connected to a computer!
Yes!! Showing her the first computer ever, she was so aghast because there was no monitor like she was expecting.
One of our favorite museums had a landline phone in an exhibit and Eleanor was maybe 2 or 3 when she first saw it. She grabbed it and started talking on it like it was a real call, without me showing her what it was for. So crazy how some things are intuitive
We had an 'open day' at work a while back allowing people to bring their kids in. One of the kids (he was only 4 I think) tried to 'swipe' one of the computer monitors and nothing happened. So he told his Mum that it was broken.... Bless!
We also had a Fax machine in our office. It wasn't used very often but some of our contractors still needed faxed confirmations of orders so... You should've seen the youngest staff when asked to send a fax... Terrified!!
