I hope so, because we will not survive another trump presidency. He may be an idiot and have no idea how the government works, but those running and already in our government DO, and they are far more dangerous. At least, some of them do. Boebert and MTG are just as stupid as trump.
It's a beautiful thing, watching the backlash against Vance. Taylor Swift is Queen of Cat Ladies, so he just mobilized her ENTIRE fanbase. And if there is a fandom that gets shit done, it's hers. Combine that with the strength of Beyonce's Beyhive...I am cautiously optimistic. Gen Z is also not to be fucked with. Theses kids have known nothing but chaos and they are DONE.

I do think Harris has a very good chance of winning in November. Even from this side of the pond she's objectively the better choice in a million different ways. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. It won't be over in November, but it might just be the start of the end for this level of chaos in your country. I think the world could really do with you guys getting your shit back together!!

Seeing the response to Harris being the potential nominee is uplifting. The amount of fundraising that has happened since Biden announced he wasn't seeking re-election is phenomenal. I just hope the DNC doesn't screw this up like they did with Bernie in 2016.
My only concern is that after 8 years of our first Black president, we got stuck with trump. Now imagine how much worse it'll be if we elect a Black FEMALE. However, it is a risk I am happily willing to take - esecially if her VP pick is Pete Buttigieg. IMAGINE! And he would absolutely wipe the floor with Vance in any debates. It would be beautiful.

I did think Pete would make a good running-mate. JD would be absolutely TERRIFIED to debate him - of TRY to!
I think the pick will be male and from an important battleground state. Where that is I have *no* idea. I guess we'll see.
