Carbs & sugar are definitely temporary fillers... For anything more you need FAT and maybe some protein.... [grin] Pizza is good - just without the pineapple!! Peperoni is still my favourite, even if I can't eat it any more.
I arrived late at a party once and the only pizza that remained was cheese (what is the point?) and ham + pepperoni. I gave it a shot out of desperation and was converted. I've found it pairs best with spicey ingredients, though.

Maybe it wasn't exactly the answer the teacher wanted... but its still a pretty good answer.
In my experience, carbs alone won't do it. Gotta have fat, salt, and sugar. Hence my love of thin-crust jalapeno & pineapple pizza.
