That's the thing though, you can TRY, but at this point it is everywhere. Kids are on laptops or iPads at school constantly, there's no getting away from it. Then we wonder why handwriting is atrocious - because no one is using a pencil anymore and definitely aren't teaching cursive, which is sort of fine, because why do we need to write fancy? But it's just everywhere
I also hate that school districts force us to use apps every single day, so during indeendent work time, kids are on their iPads SO much. Lexia, Successmaker, IXL, Amira, etc.

Good handwriting is definitely an art they need to bring back - just for the look of it.
