Though, I have a hard time taking velociraptors seriously anymore after we figured out they have feathers and were not as big as first thought. Jurassic Park raptors are terrifying, especially the scene in the kitchen when they're hunting Lex and Tim. But these little weirdo feathered things? They look so silly. And I know, I know, still deadly and would rip my guts out, but it was would be so embarassing to be killed by one that looked like that, lol
We're OK, as long as they don't figure out how to open doors.... [grin]
Yup - *real* raptors are (I think) somewhere between chicken & dog sized.... Might be a problem with 5-6 of them but shotguns would make quite the difference... [grin]
Very true. It just makes me kind of sad they're not as terrifying as Spielberg believed, and had us believing. I think they got smaller in the recent movies, which I barely refuse to acknowledge, because the first remains one of the greatest movies of all time.

The last set of movies crashed BIG time. The last one in the sequence was a travesty to be honest. Made ZERO sense.
