9v is the worst! Why do smoke detectors have to be 9v? So when I am standing on a chair at 2 AM in partial darkness changing the battery because it started beeping and woke me up, I may or may not fall off said chair trying to get the battery in, lol
That happens with your smoke detectors too, eh? Why don't they EVER go off in the middle of the day? Plus, did you ever give yourself a shock by touching both points to your tongue...? Or was that just a 'thing' over here?
lol, I have never tried to touch both points with my tongue but I feel like that would be a thing here too. And you're right, it has NEVER been during the day. My favorite is when one goes off in one of our bedrooms, but we are in the living room. So we have to stand in the hallway to figure out if it is the hall, my bedroom, or Eleanor's room. And when they first start chirping, the beeps are so far apart that we stand there for ages, finally give up thinking we were just hearing things so we leave the hallway, and then it chirps again as soon as we are back on the comfy couch.
