In reality, MAGA voters -- not officials -- are boiling over this, at least on my twitter. Let's ignore the fact that Dems didn't care about Epstein and his kiddie-boinking until they realized it made a talking point against Trump when he did this staggering about-face in the last few months. I've been looking into it, and it's some....weird, disturbing stuff. When this bastard was originally arrested in the Bush admin, the local investigation was stymied; the Feds gave him a sweetheart deal despite the fact that 40+ witnesses said he was guilty as sin. He was let go after a year and only re-arrested because the feds forgot to inform the victims about said deal , something that went against a victims-rights law. I imagine if Epstein could be resurrected and forced to testify, he'd bring down the entire western elite. His father-in-law is worth looking into.
By the way, Ana Kasparian of the Young Turks just did an interview with Tucker Carlson, and they were both surprised by their overlap in ideas despite "opposing ideologies". Throwing people into boxes ("Hurr hurr, you're maga/liberal and thus a retard") is not conducive to intellectual exchange that helps democracy.
Its interesting to see how the whole thing plays out. Its certainly a topic that's not going away any time soon, that's for sure. If you dig a deep enough hole SOMETHING is going to be needed to fill it. Could it be the thread that unravels the whole MAGA dream? Watch this space...
Oh, interesting and inventive juxtaposition: MAGA & Democracy.... [lol] Just one word really: Texas.
I'm not interested in any overlap with anyone who voted for trump, because this is a mess we may not survive and this is what they voted for.
What people fail to realize is the dems did nothing about it because they know they're in the files as well. Everyone needs to be taken down for this, regardless of political affiliation.
A lot of people think MAGA will disappear with Trump, but this populist sentiment has been building for decades. Pat Buchanan in the 1990s, the TEA Party in the late 2000s, now Trump. The difference is that he's MUCH better at channeling the energy -- of course, it helps that the energy is steadily growing. And note that the exact policies and ideologies of those three named movements differ: as Thomas Massie put it, they weren't voting for HIM so much as they were voting for someone to attack the establishment.

It's not going away as long as the DC elite continue treat the American people with contempt and get away with their unlawfulness. Both parties are in for a shake-up.
I wonder if everyone will be satisfied when the final results are in. Its *possible* that the whole thing is a complete fabrication. Its also possible that a LOT of high-level people were involved in some *very* nasty stuff. I suspect, as with most things, that its somewhere in the middle. But one thing I can be certain of... for some people it won't be enough no matter who is named...
Oh, I don't think MAGA will disappear with Trump. Trump is a manifestation not an underlying cause. But what I think *will* happen is that MAGA will lose a LOT of its focus and, probably, start infighting from minute one. The widespread frustration won't go away but the drive will.
Neither party is going to come out of this period smelling of roses. I think a lot will change in the next 10-20 years because it HAS to. This is what living through History feels like.... I'm not sure if I like it or not. I think I prefer to read about it rather than live with it day after day!

I'm pretty sure a lot of high-level people are there and that's why none of them are willing to release the information.
