It's so much worse there right now than even independent journalists are showing. It's like a war zone in places and I wish I was there to help. But I think a lesson was learned 85 years ago about attacking winter people in the winter that this administration skipped over in the Nazi playbook they've been reading.
Mine too (of course). I wish I could be at home taking part in the protests there but we do what we can from Omaha. Nebraska overall is verrrrrrrry red, but there is a deep blue dot here in Omaha so I don't feel completely alone in hating absolutely everything about our government right now.

It surprises me that journalists put up with it - or often don't support each other.
So true. I guess they don't want to lose their jobs.
I think it's a possibility at this point. Minnesota is not fucking around and I am so proud of my home state.

I've never been to the States but I know a few Americans from Minnesota. My favourite state.
