Happy New Year! We made it to 2026! Now, I'm not one for predictions... but I *think* that this year will be.... noteworthy [muses]. One thing I do HOPE for is the end to the war in Ukraine. THIS year...!

Iran is getting interesting, too. I was reading last night (or early this morning -- my neighbors were shooting off fireworks until 2 am!) that Tehran has ground to a standstill because of anti-govt rioting.
Oh, Iran has anti-government rioting pretty much on the regular. I wouldn't place too much emphasis on it.

I *was* going to say that it couldn't get worse.... But.... [muses] Globally I don't think it'll be a great year... but good things might indeed happen. Who can tell?
