Yep. And honestly it isn't even magic. Mamdani is doing wonders in NYC and showing the entire country what happens when leaders work for their people instead of themselves.
He's pretty amazing isn't he. The attacks on him before his election were both predictable and SO sad (and all too often idiotically offensive). All because he actually wanted to do something POSITIVE. I really hope that he's a shinning beacon for the future.
He's still being attacked pretty relentlessly, unfortunately. TikTok is full of posts about how 'New Yorkers have forgotten 9/11 because they voted the enemy into office' and it is DISGUSTING. He's done so much for the city already, I wish he could be president. On the other hand, we are now disregarding so many other laws, we could probably make it work and vote him in.

I don't believe in magic. But I believe if we all do something and stick together, a lot can happen.
Yes, very true. I'm rather interested in the *idea* of magic. I think it says something quite profound about us humans.

I mean, it would be nice if we could just move a wand or say a spell and solve something. But, I never heard that it works.
