I was especially tickled by it because Ella Langley is from Alabama. She's an up and rising country vocalist with a drawl as thick as properly cooked grits.
I couldn't 'place' her accent - but at least she got the location names pronounced correctly! SO many Americans seem to struggle with them... OK, *some* I can understand - you just have to 'go' with it... But others are pretty obvious.

OT but someone made a medieval Wessex version of a current country single (Choosin' Texas, Ella Langley).

(Properly cooked -- milk, butter, and time.)

Oh, Ella Langley doesn't do that Wessex one -- that's a youtuber who turns songs into 'medieval' versions.
Ah, THAT makes more sense! [lol]
