Extremely hostile.
To me, my ignorance is like hunger. Whenever I discover my ignorance (or my ignorance discovers me!) I feel *strongly* compelled to do something about it. Feeling ignorant makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't like it.
Same here. I always loved learning new things and have never stopped.
