@ Mudpuddle: I know I'm addicted to the things so I'm biased but.... the only time I can imagine not reading is when I'm dead.
@ Sarah: I actually got a friend of mine into books after he read some of my book reviews so it is possible - like you say, they just need to find the right book. I always ask: what kind of movies do you like and go from there. I think that some people have a problem with reading because they can't project pictures of the 'action' inside their heads... But that's probably just practice.

Right?? Or when people say they don't like to read...okay weirdo. I tell them they haven't found the right book yet.

Alas, some people cannot read. But that's a different story for a different kind of illustration and/or discussion.
@ RT: There is very little difference between those who can't read and those who won't read. But at least those who can't read can learn to do so.
