The painting is called 'For of Such is the Kingdom of Heaven' by Frank Bramley painted in 1891. He was an English post-impressionist genre painter of the Newlyn School.
I actually thought it was a painting by Jacques Joseph Tissot. BTW - Did you notice that it's actually a funeral procession. The four women in white (just right of centre) are carrying a child's coffin painted white.

no, i missed that... don't know why i thought they were all Danish; just exercising my jumptoconclusion gene...
