too weird... its got to be in some mid east country? unless it's some sort of power generating plant... looks like a large condenser of some kind...

That is the ugliest building I have ever seen.

@ Mudpuddle: Torres Blancas is a mixed use concrete building in Madrid, Spain designed in 1961 by Spanish architect, Francisco Javier Sáenz de Oiza. The structure is a noted example of Spanish Organicism. Spanish industrialist Juan Huarte commissioned the project which initially included two residential towers.

@ Sarah: Not surprisingly the general architectural style of the building - especially the raw concrete exterior - is called 'Brutalism'. Actually I like it. It's jaw droppingly in your face. I really don't like bland boring architecture. I prefer something with a bit more dramatic presence.... [grin]. Not sure if I'd want to *live* in it though... or *near* it..... or within *eye-line* of it..... [lol]

Oh, and I have pictures of *way* uglier buildings.... [rotflmao]

It will surprise you not at all that I am very specific about the kinds of architecture that I love most, as the styles mostly correspond to the eras I love reading about most. In fact, I am pretty sure you could guess nearly all of them.
