I'm guessing that the natives were pretty confused by the idea that their land was considered 'unoccupied' or 'unsettled' and therefore open to occupation and ownership by people who had just arrived. Funny how the natives took umbrage and fought back against people who had stolen their property. Odd that.....

YES!! We celebrate a day where Americans fed and cared for undocumented Europeans. Who, in return, slaughtered them, because we are awful.
