yep. but it's like, the more crimes that come to light, the more they like him? Which is so weird for a group who en masse like to shout blue lives matter. Oi.
People who support him blindly are chocked FULL of contradictions. But it does seem that even his supporters are *starting* to fall away. His CORE will be there forever (probably) but that's expected. Maybe they're suffering from the 'Sunk Cost' fallacy???
It's a very strange thing to watch. Should be even more interesting the next few days and weeks after the guilty verdicts. Of course, he will never see the inside of a cell because our "justice" system is literally designed to protect mediocre white men, but whatevs.
I've long thought that jail time just isn't an option. He'll get fined for the hush money case - probably somewhere in the middle of the range... and get the fine paid by his followers (unless its overturned on appeal of course!).
Now, if he LOSES in November and the next set of trials go ahead, well.... THEN its possible that he **might** get some jail experience... We can at least HOPE that he'll suffer SOME consequences... But I'm certainly not holding my breath here.
