I did find the whole PB&J thing confusing growing up. I mean... *jelly*? The stuff you have with trifle? Then I (finally) realised that 'jelly' was kind of somewhere between jello & jam... Which sounded quite yukky to be honest. But peanut butter & jam works - depending on the jam....
