I just realized my first review of Confessions was posted on March 3, 2011. Ain't THAT quite the coinkydink.
SPOOKY! I just 'finished' it today......... (I may have skimmed a bit here & there....).
I'm very close. I have a review written but I'm waiting to see if the last 10% changes anything.
Looking forward to the debate.... I'm guessing that you liked it more than I did. [grin]
Once I got past the neo-Platonist stuff. My review has a section that compare my 2011 review (which I'm guessing will be similar to yours ;-) ) to my 2026 experience. The midsection was the hardest going.
